It is imperative that all coach drivers and drivers driving vehicles over 7.5 tonnes complete a periodic driver CPC to certify their status every five years. The Driver CPC Training Course we offer consists of 5 training sessions, each 7 hours long. These may be completed together in one week, or sessions can be booked separately, subject to the 35 hours of training being completed within 5 years.
Our training sessions are based at Wycombe Air Park, at our Driver CPC approved training centre, but we also offer the option of sending a trainer to you if you have a suitable venue to carry out the training.
We try to be as accommodating as possible. The overall CPC Driver Training course is approved by JAUPT and certificated by us. Find out more about our Driver CPC Training in High Wycombe.
If you haven’t yet completed your 35 hours of training for a 5-year period, book one or all five courses of our driver CPC training in High Wycombe today! We aim to prioritise the ease of this requirement for you by offering a multitude of dates, so hopefully one will suit you! If you would like us to come to you, please do get in contact with us directly.
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to be able to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This includes carrying out a risk assessment, appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training. A variety of first aid courses are offered here in addition to the CPC Driver Training, each of which are certificated. These courses can range from 1 day to 3 days in length, depending on which course meets your needs and first aider requirements. Each course consists of a theory side and a practical side, learning skills such as CPR and how to use a defibrillator. It is the perfect course for large companies to train up some employees as first aiders, as well as being popular with Pilots and Fire Crews.
Our first aid courses are based at Wycombe Air Park, but with a 10-person minimum class, we can host them at a more suitable venue for you, even if that is in your own building. However, we do require plenty of space for practical training.
Our First Aid Training Courses are all accredited by Qualsafe.
The Fire Safety courses we offer engage a fire awareness. They are designed for companies needing to train employees to handle fire situations. The courses give an insight into how fire behaves and the chemistry of fire; this makes up the theory element of the course. The practical side involves using different types of extinguishers to extinguish live fires. The Fire awareness course can be completed in half a day, and the Fire Marshal course takes a full day.
These courses are also based at Wycombe Air Park, but we are able to come to you. As our courses involve live fire, we do require a suitable space available for us to run the course. Please get in contact for further details.
Our Fire Safety Training Courses are accredited by Qualsafe.
My name is Tim, and I run the Driving CPC Training in High Wycombe. We also run First Aid training and Fire Safety training courses at our site in Wycombe Air Park. Having worked in the transport industry for 25 years, first as a coach driver and then as a lorry driver, and as a transport manager, I have first-hand experience of the training required to maintain a career as a driver of large vehicles.
I then immersed myself into firefighting and worked as a firefighter for 15 years. For the past 5 years I have been working at the Fire College at Morton in the Marsh, training national and international fire fighters. I now work freelance and run these courses alongside occasional work at the Fire College. Therefore, I have plenty of experience with all types of fire, from minor to extreme, and in Fire Training.
